Richard Franklin
Richard Franklin joined SCT as its CEO in May 2007, with a brief to build a leading clean technology commercialisation business, specialising in technologies that provide innovative solutions in the field of low carbon, alternative energy, clean water and emissions control. Since joining SCT, Richard has assembled a portfolio of technologies, all of which are now being successfully deployed in the developing world in projects being developed using the Clean Development Mechanism.
Richard has over 15 years experience in investment banking, advising and researching companies in the energy and utilities sectors. Richard was head of the European Oil & Gas team at Morgan Stanley, during which he researched all of Europe’s major oil & gas companies. Prior to that, he covered the major European utility companies, from their privatisation and subsequent restructuring. Richard has also been involved in giving mergers and acquisitions advice to companies in the oil & gas sector.
Richard holds an MSc from Imperial College London in Environmental Technology, and is a passionate supporter of technology innovation as a means of meeting climate change and sustainability goals.

ב-15 לינואר 2001, הקים ג'ימי ויילס את האנציקלופדיה החופשית בשפה האנגלית, שעשור לאחר מכן תהפוך לאתר האינטרנט החמישי הפופלארי בעולם - 400 מיליון משתמשים בחודש אשר עושים שימוש ב-17 מיליון הערכים בכ-260 שפות – אשר נכתבו על ידי מתנדבים.
לרגל האירוע החגיגי, יערכו ברחבי העולם בשבועות הקרובים מאות אירועים – מפגשים חברתיים, אירועים אקדמאיים והרצאות בנושא ויקיפדיה וכנסים לשחרור תוכן אשר ילוו את החגיגות ברשת – כאשר בראש ובראשונה הכוונה להוקיר את המתנדבים והאנשים שכותבים ועושים את ויקיפדיה כבר כמעט עשור.
ב-14 לינואר, תערוך עמותת ויקימדיה ישראלית בשיתוף ובחסות קולנוע "לב", אירוע הוקרה גדול ל-450 מתנדבים וגולשים בוויקיפדיה העברית.
האירוע ייערך החל מהשעה 10:30 בקולנוע "לב" בדיזינגוף סנטר, תל אביב.
בתוכנית:
· 10:30–11:30: קבלת פנים. כיבוד קל, מפגש של קהילת הכותבים והמתנדבים והרבה מתנות והפתעות שיחולקו למשתתפים.
· 11:30–14:00: דברי פתיחה והקרנת טרום בכורה של הסרט "נאום המלך", אשר מועמד לאוסקר.

e 10 is one of a series of events taking place around the globe as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week .
Unlike most other events, this event is an "un-conference", or in other words, its content is determined by its participants and not by its organizers. It's going to be as good as you make it!
How it works
The entire day is going to be divided into 10 minute slots. In each slot, one of the participants will come to the podium to speak. You can speak on any subject, provided that:
it is related to entrepreneurship, and
it is not about promoting your business
Speakers can spend their 10 minutes on anything they like. It is highly recommended to leave 3-4 minutes for Q&A. Also, sessions that get the audience involved tend to be more exciting... We intend to be very strict about limiting the slots to precisely 10 minutes, in order to give as many people as possible a fair chance to speak. No powerpoint! - a projector will not be available for speakers.
Participants are requested to pick a subject and a time slot by editing THIS page. The number of slots is limited, so hurry up!

בהרצאה אורן ושירה יתמקדו בבדיקות שנערכות ב״מעבדה״ וכוללות משתמשים ״אמיתיים״. הם יסקרו את השיטות השונות תוך שימוש במחקר לדוגמה וידגימו את הממצאים להם ניתן לצפות בשימוש בכל שיטה. הם יציידו אתכם בהמלצות מעשיות הן לצורך ביצוע בדיקות והן לקבלת החלטות כאשר מתלבטים באיזו שיטה לבחור.

פול הוא האיש מאחורי Usabilla, שירות מצליח לבדיקות שמישות ברשת. פגשתי אותו בכנס UX Week 2010 בסן פרנסיסקו, והוא שמח מאוד על ההזדמנות להרצות. בהרצאה הוא יספר לנו על היתרונות של בדיקות מרחוק לעומת בדיקות מעבדה, ועל הכלים השונים שניתן לבצע איתם בדיקות מרחוק.
